Picture this:

Florals to die for, Hen Do makeup inspiration, three fabulous outfit changes, gorgeous green tablescapes, and a cake that’s basically a work of art! This modern bridal editorial shoot at Wootton Hall was nothing short of a dream, and I’m so excited to share all the stunning details.

If you’re looking for bridal inspiration, this shoot is packed with ideas for creating a modern, elegant, and unforgettable wedding day.

Hen Do Vibes

Working with Raihanna was an absolute photographer’s dream. Her striking features and glowing dark skin were the perfect match for the bold, beautiful look we had in mind. We kicked off the morning at Wootton Hall, beginning in one of their spacious, light-filled bedrooms—the perfect bridal suite backdrop. With its four-poster bed and crisp white walls, the room was a bright, airy canvas for the day. With striking jewelled make up, Perfect for a Hen do vibes. Raihanna had a blast, dressed in lace lingerie (a perfect outfit for the morning of a wedding or for the evening, when you get out of your dress), This is the sign, that on your on the morning of your wedding you’ve got built up excitement and sooooo much adrenaline, if you wanna dance around and jump up and down on that bed… DO IT! It’s your day, enjoy it and do it your way!!

ā€œThe Green Roomā€

After the fun of the morning, we moved into what I lovingly dubbed ā€œThe Green Room.ā€ I was completely smitten by this space—the patterned green (Oh I do LOVE green) wallpaper created such a cosy, intimate vibe. The earthy tones, made you feel at ease, and completely relax into this beautiful space, the perfect backdrop to the next chapter of our shoot.

The stunning tablescape in this room was one of my favourite details. A crisp white tablecloth laid the foundation for a harmonious blend of green and white florals, natural stone candle holders, elegant pots and vases, and even some fresh green fruits. The natural striped napkins added an extra touch of charm, while the simple yet beautiful stationery brought everything together. The space felt so fresh and organic—like the perfect setting for a modern and stylish wedding.

Next, Raihanna slipped into a silk gown that was absolutely everything. With a dropped back and a delicate scarf, this dress was sleek, modern, and effortlessly elegant. The silk fabric looked perfect in this room, especially when we used a combination of natural light and flash to create an editorial look that I can’t stop obsessing over.

The Cake

The last part of the day featured the main staircase within the country home. Another perfect blank canvas, which had been made extraordinary by the work of The Bunch Studio, who had beautifully adorned the staircase with cascading florals, this was the perfect setting for Raihanna, this time in a long-sleeved silk gown. The dress flowed beautifully, and the movement added an ethereal quality to the photos. To top off the look, pearl jewellery and bold earrings were added, which gave the gown an added touch of glam. And let’s talk about the bow design on the back of the necklace—it’s all about the little details, right? It drew attention to the back of the dress, and I just loved it!

Then, there was the cake. Oh, the cake! Designed by Clare Ellen Studio, this cake was so beautiful,I honestly thought it belonged in an art gallery. It was sculptural, elegant, and truly stunning—every detail was perfect.

This shoot truly showcases how Wootton Hall can offer a variety of beautiful settings for your big day, all without ever needing to leave the venue. From the light-filled rooms to the grand staircase, every space was a perfect canvas for creating something magical. By blending natural light with a touch of flash, we were able to capture a range of gorgeous photos, each one as breathtaking as the last.
