Festival Wedding at Wildwood Bluebell, The Cotswolds- Beth + Dom

“Ah our photographer Danni! She was a total dream start to finish – so relaxed and accommodating and just so talented. She rocked up on our day and managed to capture so many amazing moments, really personal photos full of love and fun. We had hired her from the getting ready process through to the reception, but she ended up staying hours longer and catching some of the best shots of our evening party. She is an amazing woman with a huge talent – thank you so much Danni!”

When Beth and Dom first got in touch with me about their festival wedding in Wildwood Bluebell, I was so thrilled – they were planning a romantic outdoor wedding with a woodland ceremony, a homemade cocktail bar and even a live band. Beth and Dom are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

The excitement before the wedding

I began the morning where the girls were getting ready at the converted barn in the same grounds of where the rest of the day was happening. It was so chilled out, because everyone was in THE BEST MOOD! Dom and the boys were getting ready in the glamping field which was a couple of minute walk away, which made it great for me to nip between the two parties as they got ready n the morning. Beth wore a simply stunning Anna Campbell dress and Dom wore Ted Baker and they both looked AWESOME!

The outdoor ceremony

The wedding took place in the Woodland area at Wildwood Bluebell, and was a romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together and were showered with colourful confetti, after tearful hugs off their family and friends… The party began!!

The party

The wedding reception took place at the marquee which was surrounded by the wonderful countryside of The Cotswolds. Beth + Dom had decorated the marquee themselves with gold bunting, pastel pom poms, mexican bunting and festoon lighting. It was so personal! It was a beautifully sunny day, which was perfect. While the guests enjoyed GnTs from the homemade bar, I whisked Beth + Dom off for some couples portraits around the beautiful woodlands, and fields. During the reception they had a live band, which went down a storm. For the wedding breakfast they had picnic baskets, (which Beth + Dom had catered themselves!!!) it was loved by all the guests!! After the meal they had some wonderful heartfelt speeches, which were all toasted which shots of homemade gin! With groomsmen hitting the decks taking it in turns to be in command of the dance floor and then a TACO truck arriving for the evening! This wedding was just frigging awesome!!!

Words of wisdom from Beth + Dom….

They say if you’re planning a wedding, You do you! This isn’t about anyone else – you don’t have to do traditional things just because they’re traditional. Oh and doing a bride’s speech was amazing! Who wants to let all the men talk all the time anyway?.

Here’s their romantic, outdoor festival wedding! ENJOY!!!
