A Rustic DIY Wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn- Jade + Sam
"Danni, we can't thank you enough, from the engagement shoot all the way through to the end of the wedding night! You are just incredible at what you do! You had all of us laughing throughout the day and are the reason for most of the smiles on our faces, thank you!! I wouldn't of had anyone else, we have so many amazing memories and we are so glad you were there, to not only capture them, but to be apart of them! Love, The Nawaz's xxx"
I am throwing it back to 2017 and starting with Jade and Sam! this lovely pair got married on the 6th April 2017 at Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire. Jade had added such a personal touch to their day by making all of the little details such as their table plan, menus and place settings. She is so bloody talented.. check out some of her work here :) It was a relaxed day, full of laughs, tears and tequila shots!! With the awesome 90s tunes banging out at the end of the night.. I did not want to leave!!

What made you decide to get married where you did?
We looked at two wedding venues, both barn types. Sandhole being our second. It was also on Jade's list to view from the minute we got engaged but we thought it was out of our price range (which it was). We didn't need to look any further once we had been here. We couple picture it so clearly it was just perfect, so we began to plan/save to make sure we could afford it. As we sat down with Emma over looking the lake, the song "dream a little dream" began to play. This is a song close to Jade's heart as it was played at her uncles funeral. She felt as though he was telling her that this was the one! And when choosing a date we chose his birthday, the 6th April, which was also the month we began dating.
How long did it take you to plan your big day?
It took just over two years, but they went so quickly!!
What advice would you give to other couples about planning their big day?
Try to plan your time wisely and make sure you leave enough time to save the money up! Making things ourselves has saved us a lot of money, but budgeting what we spent on materials to do this could have saved us a bit more! Even if you feel that you're not the most creative person, making your own invites and favours etc, adds a lot more of a personal touch to the big day!
