From the start of the day until the end, Beth + Will’s day was so much fun! It was gorgeous hot day which was a perfect setting to an awesome wedding!
Bethany and William got married in May at the spectacular Chaucer Barns, which is a beautiful barn in Norfolk. They had their ceremony in the surrounding meadows, which was the perfect setting. I loved shooting at Chaucer Barns because it’s just so bloody pretty!!! With so many different areas to this venue it is so versatile, enabling each bride and groom to make it their own. The Barn itself has such a nice homely feel to it, you feel like you can truly relax when you are there.
I had such a wonderful day with Beth and Will, it was such a wonderful day. Here it is for you to feast your eyes on;
Both Beth and Will stayed the evening before the big day at Chaucer Barns. After a morning of putting together the final touches (and trying to avoid seeing one another during breakfast), Beth along with her bridesmaids got ready in the upstairs of the main area of the barn. The atmosphere was full of excitement, and nerves! Beth was able to relax during her prep, with gorgeous views from the balcony window over looking the meadows where she would later be getting married. The girls then walked the short distance to the ceremony.
Will got ready in another section of Chaucer Barns, with all of his groomsmen. The boys then welcomed all the guests in the sunny garden, before walking along with them to where the ceremony would be taking place.
The outdoor ceremony
The wedding itself was an intimate affair under a flower arch in the beautiful meadows of the Barns. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family, which made it much more personal and was so meaningful.
The reception was out in the garden in the glorious sunshine, where everyone was able to enjoy playing lawn games. Along with the bridal party we headed out to enjoy taking some photos in the beautiful woodland surroundings of Chaucer Barns.
After a lovely meal, Beth and Will enjoyed not one but two wedding cakes, for both the savoury and sweet toothed guests! Everyone then enjoyed an evening of specially brewed pale ale from the home made bar, a live band and games of ping pong.
Beth and Will, thank you for inviting me along to your beautiful wedding day!
